you have obviously never seen his standup live. Remember you dont have to read about, watch, listen, or look at him. I sense a bit of jealousy going on in your comment.Get a life..

  2. Nadenka says:

“When I go outside to mingle in the snow
My head looked like a globe
Ain’t no hair on it at all
    Do I buy a wig
    Should I grow my beard
    And comb it upwards
    And around my ears ”

Consider cutting you hair wisely! There should be a sub-fan group of Russell Brand – RB’s Hair Fans. Rather ambiguous sounding, but worth considering. :)

  3. anetha says:

Russell will you be watching the fight between David hayes and the russian?

  4. anetha says:

It really does’t matter if he cuts his hair or not. it’s his choice.

  5. anetha says:

It took a while… but I finally finished reading this article today. I know a lot of bad things can be said about you but it is just a load of poppycock! You are an absolutely brilliant man, an idol to many and I won’t hear a bad word said against you! I adore you for being different and all that you are!

Russell is an intelligent wanker who uses the public as a mirror to see hmself. I am currently reading his Booky wook , and as a controversial writer myself, must say that he is a disguised genius given his brave and honest attempts to reveal the childhood trauma, insecurity and abuse that led him into the dungeon of heroin. It is a shame he said he can’t do without fame, who is to blame? Tony Blair, the lame or plain?. As a slave to curiousity, I share his pain! I think Brand is a man with the heart of a child, he might never grow, he is a comic genius, please leave him alone, he is simply using comedy to fulfil that eternal emptiness in all of us…..the need to be longed for, love, trusted, appreciated and celebrated in life…….and, if destiny permits, in death too. Life is a cemetry, and every stage act is a funeral. Like me, in every intellectual endeavour, Russell Brand mourns for his relatively unloved essence in advance.
Briliant, he is. Totally decadent, he is not. His story is that of a man’s triumph over the domesticated vicissitudes in and of life. Russell need rehablitation, never condemnation. He is a hero that can put innocent smile on the face of guilty strangers! Brand might not be good at football and faithful in relationships, but he is, no doubt, an eraly 21st century tragicomedian! Do I appreciate his premature victory over sexuality? maybe! And drug addiction? yes!

Well written article if a little on the long side. Had to look myopic up I thought it meant someone with one eye lol. Here is a joke by my brother. Its true. He got burgled and they took all his gold. He said people thought the burglars were druggies. I said to him ‘But Charlie they are beautiful people’ He said ‘They are now theyve got my gold on.

  15. Nike Max 95 says:

What’s the difference between casual drug use and hardcore drug addiction? In plain terms, there is no such thing as a “casual” drug habit. Repetitive drug users, no matter firmly they believe otherwise, are never in control of their drug use; repetitive drug use is predicated on need, and need is a thing that can’t be governed by anything we might understand, conventionally, as individual will. What that means, in the most general sense, is that every repetitive drug user is a prospective addiction treatment patient. Again, drug addicts can’t simply decide to stop using drugs; they need help, from intensive addiction treatment programs specially designed to meet their specific needs. As there is no “casual” drug habit, so is there no “casual” form of addiction treatment: Every effective addiction treatment program must be grounded in a commitment to treat the whole of an addict’s being, and to confront addiction in all its forms. From a practical perspective, addiction treatment must combat the joint causes of drug and alcohol addiction. Addiction is a two-headed disease, one that exists in both physical and psychological dimensions. Successful addiction treatment, it follows, is that which delivers both physical and psychological therapy to recovering addicts. Anything else would only amount to an incomplete solution, and, again, there is no such thing as a halfway addiction cure. What do I need to know about addiction treatment? To this point, we’ve painted addiction and addict…
