The Wiltern Theater
Tenacious D and Friends will bring together some of the biggest names in comedy and alternative rock for Stand With Haiti, a very special event benefiting Partners In Health and their Haitian earthquake relief efforts. Tenacious D will team up with an array of special guests, including Frank Black, Russell Brand, Aimee Mann, James Mercer, Bob Odenkirk, Patton Oswalt, Maya Rudolph, Jason Segel, Ben Stiller and Tig.
love all the posts, and I’m a big American fan. (big as in admiration, not size)
I’d like to attend some of these events, just wish you guys could give a little more notice.
Cheers.
This is going to be a great event. Wish I could attend! Will someone from the RB team please post photos or a little video from it? Or have Russell write a short blog about his involvement in benefits like this? Please? xx
Sounds fun…hopefully someone will share the concert with their internet friends as I am a 3.5 hour plane ride away :(
Jason Segel :D :D :D
If only if only I was in America
Come back to blighty you boob

so excited. just saw Russell at UCB theater on Friday night. Was an excellent show despite having to wait over an hour. completely worth it.
if i can record, i will do my best to!
Russell! Please find out what’s up with the Americans charged with kidnapping Haitian children for child trafficking purposes! A more unlikely group could not be found! And you could be a great negotiator! Use your talents for good, not evil! X
That sounds like a really great gig!
What’s up with the new Podcast brother?
Have you made up with Matt Morgan yet?
This shit is literally what keeps me visiting your site , no insult intended.
@ Frances … can you please not be crazy? Thanks. Russ, good on you, working for this effort … we’re all keeping Haitian citizens in our thoughts and prayers
Sorry I can’t make it. What a great cause. You rock Rusell.
So does Aimee Mann.
I’ve put up some pics & a video from this benefit on my blog here:
