OMG! Calm down everyone! The interviewer is Steven Smith.. a rock show host and writer..a fan of Russell and Katy. He is known for dry humor and he had a long running gag about liking The Lovely Katy Perry. I’m sure he was going to elaborate on the joke about “hating” or “being annoyed by” Russell Brand that he started, but was cut off by his producer.. he tried to start the joke over after the unexpected sign out, but then the camera video clip cuts him off.
“That is one of his defining characteristics: he keeps coming” XD ahahahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ROFLMAO!!!! Russell you’re great as always and that “interviewer”, what an idiot he is… -.-

Haha, I think people are being a little bit rough on this poor interviewer — I don’t think he meant Russell annoys the crap out of him .. I think he got interrupted as he was going to say something else. He seemed to be a fan of Russ overall.
Some great red carpet interviews the last couple nights, Russ … you always liven up the place and shake people out of their stupor. They’re standing there expecting the same old pat answers from every celeb, and then you come along and make everyone wonder, “What just happened?” I love it.
