This is very corrupted, love is abound sure, but love is a connection too, and very complex, oh what the hell..LIFE INNIT! I dunno! I know all these things about what love is…..what it TRULY is. I could say too…

Clever idea that should work in the U.S.
Take something that everyone craves and make the largest consumer society think they can buy it.

This is a great idea, Russell. Any chance of bringing it to the U.K?

To get into the spirit, I’m going to try and buy only that which I truly need for a month. I’m a shopaholic so it will be One Day At A Time.

    Good luck with it. x

I agree love is free – not to be bought or swapped with material things! These people need cuddles! That we offer services because we want to – not because we are being paid. ‘Give more service than what you get paid for’ was indeed a quote that has stayed with me many years – I get great satisfaction seeing peoples faces light up. People choose to be overworked these days… because of love of MONEY – it’s greed. Sometimes I can’t help but think that that is our world’s consciousness – revolved around MONEY, of course! – The more we take-the more he takes, then she takes, then they take. That somehow all the material things we buy will serve us a happy turn! All it is is satisfaction – and if your clever enough to earn appreciation – that’s where happiness really lies. How can we teach the world to grow by robbing each and every one of our people of their riches? I don’t choose to live that way. Pay your bills and forget about it – only buy what you need and deserve….

It’s amazing to think that Oliver Stone is using YOU Russell as a character study. As if Alexander the Great and Gandhi weren’t enough.. Has his gruff voice chaffed your threshold yet? Or is he allowing you to pull off the bulk of this project all on your lonesome?

“Buy Love Here” great concept. But dare I ask “where is the love” in NOT inviting your own Dad to your Wedding??? Rusty I have read your auto-biography and I understand you have a complex and at times a strained relationship with your Dad Ron. I mean who has the perfect Dad? People married too young in the seventies lots of (shotgun weddings). My own parents the same situation- they separated when I was four. They were extremely volatile together a serious case of Ike and Tina Turner. I think they did me a favour by going their separate ways when I was too young to know what was going on.
Rusty I think your parents did you a favour too.
It is your special day to the lovely Miss Perry what are you going to prove by not having your father there? ….sadly nothing…. don’t wait until your carrying his coffin out of the church to say “I should’ve invited my Dad to my Wedding” because then its too late. It will leave a hole in your heart.
Afterall you only have 1 Dad.
Finally Rusty my own Dad (Michael) passed away when I was 10yrs old.
I had a lot of anger towards him for not being there more before he died. I was a very angry aggressive teenager because I could never have it out with him confront him that chance was taken away from me. You had it out with your Dad in the form of a “boxing match” and had “the talk” afterwards I watched it on U-Tube and remember thinking ‘What I wouldn’t give to have that with my Dad” to be able to sit down with him and ask him “why weren’t you there more Dad”? “What happened between you and Mum” listen to his side of the story. And what I wouldn’t give to have my Dad at my own Wedding……..Rusty you have that chance…don’t waste it.

    Hugs xox

My husband is an eyaevdry-hero to us. He has weathered the storms of life with us. He is also a hard working farmer and we love him very much. With the strain of being a working father and husband, and with all the manual labor a farmer does, Francis, is a great candidate to win a prize!
