Have a look at this great clip of Russell reading from Booky Wook 2 in New York back in April just after having written this chapter

This video was taken from the enhanced e-book edition of Booky Wook 2 which has 16 exclusive videos, including readings by Russell, behind-the-scenes clips, and unseen early stand-up.

You write in such a lovely way. The words fashioned together so well, it’s as if you’re singing. I loved the end philosophy the most. None of this is real.

Reading BW2 now, and loving it.
Love RB: articulate, funny and crazy, with a good heart.

Message boards are going the way of the dinosaur. All the forums I used to go to are either dead or dying. It’s because of celebrity blogs and Twitter. Why talk to an anonymous nobody at a message board when you can talk to someone who’s rich or famous at a celebrity blog? It’s not right, but it’s reality. People are so shallow and celebrity obsessed.

I’m excited about the book though. It sounds awesome.

You’re a very good writer russell. I want to see you do a fictional novel – something serious cus I think you could do something brilliant with your skills. I wonder if you read all of your work out load after doing it ? Perhaps that’s a good writers tip !

I’m in the US, and I bought the enhanced e-book a while ago (around the date that BW2 was released here). When I told fans in the UK about it, they were unable to purchase it because apparently the UK version of the iTunes store didn’t have it. Is it now available to everyone? I hope so, because the videos & extras included are well worth the price, even if you’ve already bought the book!

Also, just a note about the format – it seems to only be available to play on an iPhone or iPad…doesn’t work on Kindle or Sony’s ereader, and doesn’t work on regular computers. Not sure about Blackberry or other smartphones.

I like the part where you say, None of it’s real. It’s all an illusion. Great line. Nice shirt too btw! lol

You are a very talented writer, I envy your verbosity and composure. The depth and feeling with which you write is awe inspiring. I love your books, I am currently reading Booky Wook I and very much enjoy it! Keep up the good work.

Would love to download this too – how come it’s not available for your fans in the UK . That’s really lame. All this iTunes politics is getting so boring. I want it now! x

Where in the world is @rustyrockets? I know he’s in London at the moment, but would be nice if this site had an up-to-date list of upcoming appearances and activities.

He indicated on Twitter that there would be an LA book signing in November, but we’re in the middle of the month and there’s been no announcement …

Im Irish and I read Booky Wook 2 on my honeymoon at start of October I got such a laugh out of it (getting looks laughing out loud on the plane and by the pool) When I came back I went in search of Booky Wook 1 ! and again it was pure genius !I love how reading the book I could almost hear him reading it for me! Now im a bit obsessed with him haha even went and got “Forgetting Sarah Marshell” and “Get Him To The Greek” again i wasnt disappointed :)

The world is a far better place with you in it. May God watch over you and keep you safe. You are a genius my friend……

You’ve got a lovely voice, tinged with a bit of sadness I think, somewhat like my own. Apart from being an interesting booky wook, it is an amazing way for even the well read to increase their vocabulary. You have crossed many boundaries but not the one separating Mother and son. You’ve fulfilled the dreams of many women, who see someone sexy on stage or the silver screen and are overcome by love, desire and the feeling of their importance being confirmed. I reckon if Russell can give up heroin, I can give up coffee and chocolate….and I have…….given up coffee and chocolate.
