Some of these shows seemed to be almost all behind the scenes/pre-show banter… they’re fun but it feels like a lot of content is missing, and some of the podcasts seem to end abruptly. at one point G mentioned Noel Gallagher was a guest I think? but this wasn’t included in the podcasts?
I agree with some of the other comments, the editing could have been better. tbh though I’m just glad Russ is back on radio!
Russell, you poor lad, I’ve added you to my blog roll so that I can share your blog and brilliance with my many cohorts around the world. I’m a poet and novelist from Canada who is fascinated by your mental agility, razor sharp wit and of course I’m also jealous that you can talk shit faster than I can nevertheless I adore you Russell and although there is little chance of you ever visiting this rock I live on in the middle of the sea (Newfoundland) I can at least find your work here and at various other locations to feed my need to laugh until my guts hurt. There, that is the longest run on sentence in your comment section. Congratulations also to both you and Katy for a life filled with humour and peace and love.
Aussies are dying as we speak don’t want to be a doomsayer but we could do with a link that unites all Aussies looking for some stress relief, we are all anxious and know many Aussies love Russell,everyone in Queensland that uses this site for arvo laughs will surely be tuning in today stuck in a reserve camp if lucky hope my family and friends got out thinking of you all Maria xxxx
Matt’s hair’s gone! Thanks for posting these, it’s nice to know you guys are still getting together and you’re still friends. It was sad to think that the Radio 2 and 6 shows were the last we’d all see of you as a team. Bring back the show and stay together. Russell and Matt – you were made to work together.
