  2. maureenoconnell says:

Have you got so up ya own ass that you have forgotten what the fuck made you tick?

  3. Matt Patton says:

There are times I feel that people could have stopped writing in English after Shakespeare died. Ridiculous of course, but . . .

  4. Laura Dixon says:

Hahaha Russell, just as funny as ever!

  5. Bianca-Rose says:

    Well Russell, have you? lol
I love that quote from The Tempest. “Misery acquaints a man with strange bedfellows.” It very much does.

  6. Maria says:

This looks very beautiful & yet strange in equal measure. Hasn’t been a truly great Shakesphere big screen outing since Romeo & Julliet…this could be it! Can’t wait to see it! x x x

    maureenoconell,
from reading your comment it is clear to me you are a stupid cunt who should keep her mouth firmly shut when you don’t know what you are talking about
Russel is and has always been heavily interested in literature and fine drama, shown in the fact he went to Drama school, and often eludes to Books (those clunky things with the pages in them, if you no doubt have failed to open one for some time) in his work and in interviews.
In summation, please keep your thoughts to yourself, and that that sordid little fuckhole closed in future. No, not just in these comment threads, i mean All the time

Yours, Darragh Mc Keon, Dublin, Ireland

  8. Frances says:

Was this a limited release? I can’t find it anywhere near me :(

  9. Bianca-Rose says:

Darragh Mc Keon, it is terribly ill-mannered to curse at a lady. No, not just in these comment threads, I mean all the time.

  10. Danni says:

Bianca-Rose, it may be terribly ill-mannered to curse at a lady, however maureen oconnell, having cursed herself, should not consider herself a lady.

  11. grannyfan says:

Looks brilliant, can’t wait to see it.

Why shouldn’t Russell have a range of work? Sexy stand up, ironic self deprecation, Hollywood romcoms and Shakespeare? It’s all good, no?

  12. Katy says:

It seems strange to see Russell in a Shakespeare but I don’t know why, I think its because I’m so used to seeing Russell in a stand-up environment or movies where he plays characters more like himself. I still can’t wait to see it though!

  13. mycaricature says:

Looks great. Russell of course but also Dame Mirren. x

  14. Bianca-Rose says:

Danni, I believe what makes a lady is between ones legs, not the words which escape ones mouth (or in this case, fingertips.)
