Whatever happened to Jack & Gareth? In the old(er) days, this site would have had a video filmed by the guys, of Russell before the ceremony, getting ready and probably teasing Babs. Or maybe a video in the car ride to the ceremony. I don’t mean to be negative, but why did this site lose everything that made it personal in the beginning? Now more than ever, longtime fans of Russell want to feel like we’re still included in what he’s doing. Because otherwise it feels like it’s just a big Hollywood thing and it’s hard to relate to.
That being said, I love Babs and Russell is his usual charming self here … it’s great to see him bring his unique humor to a venerable institution like the Oscars.
I’m so, so, SO proud of you Russell! I can’t imagine how proud you own mother must feel. And…so, so, SO proud of Katy– saw her on Oprah today! Congrats to you both from Michigan!
