I am a 28 year old alcoholic. I am determined to better myself. I was looking into watching Russell’s documentary for information and story’s that will inspire me to keep up not drinking (feel shit tonight). Then I found this!
To me the Dalai Lama liked Russell’s “openness”, because its a quality that few of us possess and need to learn. I want to stop drinking permanently, and become more centered around what my body and mind need to fuel my soul. Rather than subduing my soul with ‘wasted’ nights and weekends, which kills my body and ruins my mind.
My soul needs to follow my dream. A dream to make a company that makes props for TV/Film and Advertising. If Russell can turn his life around to such an extent that he is honored by being in the Olympic ceremony and is respected enough to be allowed to interview the Dalai Lama; Maybe my dream is not so far fetched. I just need to fix my body and reboot my mind, by keeping busy doing something I love and then it’s time to scoff some feel good soul food. :)

I love His Holliness I find it so sad that he cannot return home to his place of true Holliness place for all Buddiest. China took His Holliness’ land from him I don’t play international politics but China should allow His Holliness to return home.

I’m really happy that I bought Get Him To The Greek. Arthur (which I believe Dudley Moore would be proud of) I’ve watched that DVD so many times it’s worped time for another)
I’ve been clean & sober since 1993 I feel great I don’t attend any meeting where I live all the people @ AA only cares about who is sleeping w/who & who can get w/who in bed.
I’ve learned more from the serienty prayer the key to life is in there Accept the things you cannot change /answer /people places & things/ to accept the things you can change. & the wisdom to know the difference /answer you change the people that you hang out with (get with the winners drop the losers) places if you would go the a bar or something go to a library read a book I don’t go to church but that’s an option volunteer somewhere /Last but not least Things change your way of thinking get your head clear and a lot of people have a problem w/me saying. This most drinking come from a thinking problem if you change your thinking you can achieve the peace of all minds and then you will not only see the 12 promises you will achieve and receive all 12 promises and it’s like this is out there but it’s like a trip of a totally peace of mind and things don’t bother you it’s like Bruce Lee said become one with the water and it happens
